Job summary

People Inc. in the United States seeks an Associate Content Creator to bring original social videos from idea to execution across PEOPLE channels.

You will pitch concepts, shoot social-first content, edit and deliver final cuts for social, and collaborate with reporters, editors and the Video team. You'll conduct interviews, attend red-carpet and live events, and help pre-produce shoots by crafting questions for talent and developing scroll-stopping concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or communications or related field
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced, creative environment
• Strong understanding of social media with a focus on Gen Z audiences

Responsibilities

• Pitch and create compelling social videos
• Work closely with reporters, editors, social video producers, designers and the Video team
• Conduct interviews and produce talent
• Attend events on behalf of brand and capture content, and other duties as assigned
