South Central District Health is seeking a professional to support families and children through the district’s 10 county Early Intervention/Babies Can’t Wait program. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Audiology, Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, Elementary Education, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Family/Community Counseling, Certified Orientation/Mobility Specialist, Social Work, Special Education, Child Psychology, Dietetics, Early Childhood Special Education, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Sociology, Education.
  • Related bachelor or master’s degree may be accepted if transcript shows ≥20% credits addressing child development, disabilities, or family systems; transcript must be submitted.
  • Georgia nursing license (RN) required; license copy must accompany resume.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
Audiology, Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, Elementary Education, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, Child Development, Developmental Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Family/Community Counseling, Certified Orientation/Mobility Specialist, Social Work, Special Education, Child Psychology, Dietetics, Early Childhood Special Education, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Sociology, Education

OR

The potential candidate may have a related bachelor or mater’s degree. Related is defined as “at least 20% of the credit hours of the transcript must address child development, disabilities, or family systems.” A copy of the candidate’s full transcript(s) must be submitted with the resume.

OR

The potential candidate may be a licensed Registered Nurse. A copy of the candidate’s Georgia nursing license must be forwarded with the resume.
