What We’re Looking For

• Certified or soon-to-be-certified teachers in Social Studies, History, or Middle-Level Education
• Ability to teach middle school social studies content such as U.S. history, world history, civics, geography, and cultural studies
• Ability to integrate reading, writing, and critical thinking skills into social studies instruction
• Willingness to teach some English Language Arts (ELA) sections if needed
• Ability to develop engaging lessons that promote historical thinking, analysis of primary sources, and civic engagement
• Experience using data and assessments to drive instruction and support student growth
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
