Acceleration Academies is seeking a Social Studies Content Coach in Texas to deliver competency-based content and support Graduation Candidates toward graduation and post-secondary success. You will collaborate with a team to provide academic, social-emotional, and career-oriented support that empowers learners.

The role focuses on enrollment support, personalized learning plans, and frequent data-informed instruction in classroom and small-group settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Texas 7-12 secondary certification in Social Studies (REQUIRED).
• 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Strong communication, time management, instructional planning, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support new GC enrollment through recruitment and engagement efforts.
• Assist with the development of Personalized Learning Plans for GCs.
• Advise assigned GCs by maintaining communication with learners and their support team.
• Monitor attendance, academic progress, and overall wellness to ensure engagement and achievement.
• Plan and deliver content-area instruction in both individual and small group settings.
• Monitor GC progress toward course completion and mastery using assessments.
• Analyze data to inform instruction and improve outcomes.
• Provide remediation and enrichment opportunities to address learning gaps.
