Job summary

Roanoke County is seeking a candidate to provide accountable administrative and human services support to clients across Self Sufficiency, Children’s Services, and Child Protective Services. You will gather data, assist with forms, and help manage records and costs.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent and some experience in Human Services. Preferred: training in Human Services and valid Virginia driver’s license with clean record.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Courses or training in the Human Services field.
• Required: Some experience in Human Services field

Responsibilities

• Provide direct service to clients.
• Gather data to prepare reports and support records.
• Assist clients in completing forms and documenting information.
• Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and case actions to support client service costs.
• Assist staff with supportive tasks and with file management.
• Scan documents into repositories and maintain program knowledge.
