Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience performing duties comparable to a Social Worker II (one year graduate work may substitute).
• Or one year of experience performing duties comparable to a Social Worker III.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise the work of Social Worker staff.
• Interpret Department policies and develop procedures for staff.
• Provide training and staff development for unit members.
• Coordinate services with other unit and County management staff.
• Prepare budget information and reports for the Department.
• Represent the Department with community organizations, public meetings, and other government agencies.
