Job summary

Hale Makua Health Services in Kahului, Maui, is seeking a passionate Social Services Manager to plan and coordinate the emotional and social care for residents. The role includes supervising Social Services Assistants and ensuring residents' rights are clearly communicated.

You will provide individual and family counseling and collaborate with the care team to develop social service programs that meet residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work is required.
• Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Licensed by the State of Hawaii as a Social Worker.

The Position

We're looking for a passionate Social Services Manager to plan, coordinate and implement the overall emotional and social needs program for residents. This position encompasses:

• Supervises Social Services Assistants
• Assures that all residents and families are informed fully concerning \"residents rights\"
• Provides individual and family counseling and case management services to individuals and families when necessary.
• Provides consultation to members of the team, community, agencies, etc. in efforts to solve the needs and problems of the residents through the development of social service programs.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Experience in a health care setting preferred, supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensed by the State of Hawaii as a Social Worker
