Job summary

Hale Makua Health Services in Maui seeks a compassionate Social Services Manager to plan, coordinate, and implement the overall emotional and social support program for residents. You will supervise Social Services Assistants and ensure families are informed about residents' rights while delivering counseling and case management as needed.

This leadership role requires a Master's in Social Work, Hawaii licensure as a Social Worker, and healthcare experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Licensed by the State of Hawaii as a Social Worker.
• Experience in a health care setting preferred, supervisory experience preferred.

The Position:

We’re looking for a passionate Social Services Manager to plan, coordinate and implement the overall emotional and social needs program for residents. This position encompasses:

• Supervises Social Services Assistants
• Assures that all residents and families are informed fully concerning "residents rights"
• Provides individual and family counseling and case management services to individuals and families when necessary.
• Provides consultation to members of the team, community, agencies, etc. in efforts to solve the needs and problems of the residents through the development of social service programs.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Experience in a health care setting preferred, supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensed by the State of Hawaii as a Social Worker
