Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehabilitation seeks a Director of Social Work to lead our social services team in a long-term care setting. You will coordinate case management, assist families, and ensure adherence to MDS/CAA/CP processes while addressing resident concerns.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field, a state credential (LSW/LCSW), and at least two years in long-term care, with strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related human services field is required.
• State-issued Social Work credential (LSW/LCSW, etc.) required.
• Two+ years of experience in long-term care.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MDS, CAA, CP, BIMS, PHQ9 expected.
• Strong organizational skills; multitasking ability.
• Compassion for elderly residents and families.
• Ability to work in a team and address resident concerns.

Responsabilités

• Provide social work leadership in a long-term care setting.
• Oversee patient/resident case management and family communication.
