Qualifications

• Six (6) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in a human services related area.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Internal Applicants Only: Four (4) years of experience in the Child Protective Service, Child Welfare, or Adult Protective Service Worker series, one (1) year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity, may substitute for the required education and experience.
• Substitution Information: Additional education and experience may be substituted based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, direct, and review programs and operations within CPS and Youth Services across Brooke, Hancock, and Ohio counties.
• Serve as liaison with state and federal partners to resolve complex issues and collaborate with community partners and service providers.
• Travel frequently between counties and be on-call during non-business hours with access to a telephone.
