Job summary

WV Department of Human Services in West Virginia seeks a Social Services District Manager to plan, implement, direct, and review programs within CPS and Youth Services across Brooke, Hancock, and Ohio counties.

You will collaborate with community partners, serve as a liaison with state and federal partners to resolve complex issues, and travel between county offices as needed. A valid WV driver's license and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA from an accredited college or university.
• Six years of full-time or equivalent experience in a human services related area.
• Must obtain social work licensure within the timeframe set by the agency.
• Valid WV driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, direct, and review programs across three counties' CPS and Youth Services units.
• Coordinate policy development and administration for multiple units.
• Serve as liaison with state and federal partners to resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with community partners and service providers to assist clients.
• Occasional on-call and travel to county offices as required.
