As a key member of our management team, you will oversee the social services department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care and support.
As a Social Services Director, you will be responsible for:
Leadership and Management: Supervise and lead a team of social workers, counselors, and other support staff to provide comprehensive social services to our residents.
Assessment and Planning: Conduct initial assessments and create individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each resident.
Case Management: Coordinate and manage the provision of services, including counseling, therapy, and support groups, to promote resident well‑being and independence.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments, including nursing, therapy, and activities, to ensure a holistic approach to resident care.
Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the social services department and increase resident satisfaction.
Minimum 0 years of experience in a social services or related field.
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong leadership and management skills to effectively supervise and motivate staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
