Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Social Services Director to lead the department, ensure NASW Code of Ethics compliance, and align with Federal, State, and Local guidelines. You will direct services to maximize residents' independence, dignity, and quality of life.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human services field, licensure, and at least two years in LTC/SNF/AL/MC with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human services field is required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory social work experience in a health care setting with geriatric population is required.
• Minimum 2 years of prior experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC settings is required.
• Certified, licensed, or registered in the state of practice is required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior is expected.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As a Social Services Director, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services department in accordance with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and in compliance with Federal, State, and Local guidelines and regulations, company policies and procedures, and governing agencies. You will also be responsible for fostering a climate, policies, and routines that enable residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity. This climate should provide residents with the highest practical level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being and quality of life. As the Social Services Director, you will be responsible for identifying psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs along with providing, developing, and/or aiding in the access of services to meet those needs.
