Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking a part-time Social Services Assistant for a 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM shift in Illinois. The role supports the Social Services Department, addressing the emotional and social needs of residents on an individual basis.

You will participate in planning and implementing programs, while following facility policies and regulatory requirements to ensure resident well-being.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of supervised experience in mental health or human services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Social Services Department operations.
• Establish policies and procedures as directed by the Administrator.
• Safeguard residents' health, safety, and welfare per facility policies and laws.

Job Summary: The Social Services Assistant assists in the implementation of programs the Social Services Department, assuring that the medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.

Essential Duties

• Planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of facility's Social Services Department.
• Establish policies, and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator.
• Safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all manner, in accordance with facility's established policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
