Qualifications/expectations as a Social Services Assistant

• Resident advocacy- act as a liaison between residents, staff and families

• Emotional and psychological support- provide support to people dealing with challenges, anxiety, mental health etc

• Discharge planning- assist residents/families with the transition of going home and having the correct support

• Work with staff to ensure correct care for patients

• All duties assigned by the director
