Butler Rehab and Healthcare Center in Independence, MO seeks a dedicated Social Services Director to lead our social services team and ensure the mental and psycho-social well-being of residents. The role focuses on directing care, coordinating admissions, and supporting families with compassionate guidance.

You will oversee regulatory compliance, collaborate with clinical staff, and provide counseling to residents and families to promote holistic well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Services or related field (or relevant professional experience to the position)
• Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job
• Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess sufficient communication skills to perform the tasks required
• Possesses strong knowledge of state, federal and local regulations as they pertain to long term care
• Possesses good communication skills and is patient and self-disciplined

Responsibilities
