We are looking for a skilled video editor who is deeply immersed in the health and wellness world—someone who follows influencers in this space, stays informed on emerging trends, and can incorporate scientific research into engaging short-form video content.

Your Role

As a Health & Wellness Video Editor, you'll create viral, research-driven short-form content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Your work will translate complex health topics into engaging, digestible videos that resonate with wellness-conscious audiences.

You won’t just be editing—you’ll be shaping the conversation around non-toxic living, gut health, functional medicine, and clean eating through storytelling that’s backed by credible research.

What You’ll Be Working On

Short-Form Vertical Social Media Video Content (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)

Our bread and butter! You’ll be editing talking head videos, podcast clips, and expert interviews to maximize engagement and retention. Every video should have:

A Strong Hook – Use visual and auditory techniques to grab attention within the first 3 seconds.
Story Flow – Craft seamless narratives that educate and entertain.
Science-Backed Editing – Research scientific journals to incorporate credible sources into on-screen text or visuals.
Motion & Keyframing – Use dynamic zoom-ins/outs, crop-ins, and motion tracking for emphasis.
Green Screen – Make wellness experts pop on screen with creative, engaging backgrounds.
Memes & Trends – Tastefully integrate trending memes relevant to health, wellness, and sustainability.
Music & Sound Effects – Select trending, non-distracting audio that enhances the story.
Aesthetic & Quality – Ensure high-resolution graphics, clean fonts, and high-quality PNGs (no blurry assets!).

What We’re Looking For

Deep Passion for Health & Wellness – You live and breathe a clean, non-toxic lifestyle and follow top health influencers, nutritionists, and functional medicine experts.
Research Skills – Ability to source and incorporate scientific studies into videos. Understanding of PubMed, medical journals, and reliable health sources is a plus!
Expertise in Short-Form Video Editing – You’ve mastered the art of creating engaging, fast-paced content for social media.
Trend Awareness – You know what’s hot in the wellness space, from natural detox methods to gut health trends.
Technical Skills – Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and basic motion graphics.
Detail-Oriented – Ensuring accuracy in spelling, research citations, and medical claims.
Speed & Efficiency – You thrive in fast-paced environments and can edit high volumes of content while maintaining quality.
Great Communication & Collaboration – You’re a team player who can interpret creative direction and enhance ideas visually.
Time Management – Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
