Job summary

Edinboro University on the Clarion Campus seeks a part-time Social Media Student Assistant for Carlson Library. The role is 8-10 hours per week, with a pay rate of $10.00 per hour.

You will assist in content development for Carlson Library social channels with faculty and staff, build strategies to grow followers and engagement, and ensure content aligns with university brand and library guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience using social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc.) in personal and/or professional settings.
• Experience using Canva.
• Creative writing and editing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to provide portfolio of personal and/or professional social media work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of content for Carlson Library social media channels alongside library faculty and staff.
• Develop strategies to increase followers and engagement with social media channels.
• Adhere to University brand standards and practices and Carlson Library social media guidelines.
• Prepare content to meet calendar deadlines
