Job summary

HED in San Diego seeks a Social Media Specialist to strengthen the firm’s digital presence by creating and managing content that showcases projects, people, and culture across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.

You will coordinate with leaders, subject-matter experts, Marketing, Business Development, and Talent to ensure social activity supports brand, recruiting, and business-development objectives while applying a consistent HED voice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional social media or digital communications experience.
• Experience managing social channels for a professional organization.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to simplify complex topics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Oversee day-to-day social channels and coordinate contributions from firm teams.
• Translate complex topics into clear, engaging content for audiences.
• Use performance data to optimize campaigns and content strategy.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, Talent and leadership to support goals.
