Genesee District Library is seeking a Social Media Content Creator to develop engaging content that highlights events, collections, and spaces across multiple platforms. You will tailor formats for each channel and optimize content with SEO-friendly techniques to drive visibility.

Under the Community Relations Manager, you will capture photos and videos for events and projects, analyze performance with analytics tools, manage postings, respond to comments, and travel to various locations for

Qualificações

High School diploma and two (2) years experience creating content for digital, social media, marketing, or communications platforms.
Experience with photography, photo editing, and video editing.
Experience with content management systems and editing tools.

Responsabilidades

Create content for multiple social media platforms, sharing information about GDL events, collections, libraries, and library spaces.
Tailor content formats to fit the unique technical and audience requirements of different platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.).
Track performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and social media dashboards to evaluate success and adjust strategies.
Maintain current advertising on social media platforms.
Use good judgment responding to comments, managing direct messages, and building an audience.
Ability to travel to various locations for content collection, events, and meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
