We're Hiring!
Social Media Specialist and Community Manager

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist and Community Manager to support the Marketing Department in elevating our brand presence and engagement across social platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Brand Manager, Content Specialist, and Graphic Design team to develop and execute strategic campaigns that drive engagement, build community, and contribute to Scilife’s business objectives.

Your responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and execute social media strategies aligned with Scilife’s brand and business goals.
  • Write engaging, platform-specific content for LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, X, and other platforms to connect with our target audience of life sciences professionals.
  • Manage Scilife’s social media presence, building a vibrant and engaged online community.
  • Collaborate with the Design teams to produce creative content, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep Scilife’s strategy fresh and relevant.
  • Build relationships with key voices in pharma, biotech, and medical devices to increase reach and credibility.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports and present actionable recommendations.
  • Identify emerging platforms or tactics that align with our target audience.
  • Analyze performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and optimize content strategies.
  • Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay informed about industry topics and trends to create timely, relevant content that resonates with our audience.
What you will need:
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing social media platforms, preferably for SaaS or life sciences industries.
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful social media campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn and other platforms, including their unique algorithms, audience behaviors, and best practices.
  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite) and analytics platforms to track performance and extract actionable insights.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to craft engaging copy tailored to various social platforms.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in community management and audience engagement.
Preferred skills:
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator to design and edit basic visual assets is a plus.
  • Knowledge of paid social strategies and experience managing social media ad campaigns is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of quality management and regulatory compliance in the life sciences is a bonus.
