Job summary

Grand Canyon Education (GCE) is seeking a Student Worker Intern to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCE’s Ground Traditional Enrollment department.

The role focuses on assisting with social media reporting, developing strategies, and coordinating team meetings while creating content that highlights student interests and university strategies. This internship requires evening/weekend availability and strong Microsoft Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Instagram and content creation/editing tools.
• Currently studying Social Media at GCU preferred.
• Evenings and weekend work expected.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and university programs.
• Organized, task-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Adaptable to a high-volume, high-demand environment.

Responsibilities

• Reporting on social media with department leadership.
• Organization and progression of social media strategies.
• Facilitation of team meetings with key stakeholders.
• Creating and editing content highlighting college, student interests and university strategies.
• Collecting and inputting administrative notations to recruiting systems to track efforts.
• Keeping direct supervisor informed of progress and potential issues and making recommendations to ensure plans are well coordinated and synchronized.
