About This Role

We’re hiring a US-based content writer to create long-form content for a B2B SaaS client. This freelance position involves working with our editorial team to produce well-researched, engaging, and SEO-optimized content tailored for professional audiences. If you understand social media marketing trends and enjoy writing about digital strategy, social platforms, and marketing technology, we’d love to hear from you. The application passcode is social savvy.

Please note that we do not work with writers who subcontract their work.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, long-form content on B2B, SaaS, and social media marketing topics.
• Conduct thorough research to understand client products, target audiences, and industry context.
• Use internal briefs to structure and outline articles, bringing clarity and logic to each piece.
• Incorporate keywords and SEO best practices while maintaining readability and audience engagement.
• Cite credible sources, stats, and examples to support arguments.
• Adapt writing style to match different client brand voices and tones.
• Collaborate with editors for revisions and improvements.
• Meet deadlines and communicate proactively regarding progress or blockers.

Who You Are

• Knowledgeable about social media marketing trends, platforms, and best practices.
• With 2–3 years of experience creating content for marketing, SEO, or B2B brands, especially in social media marketing or SaaS.
• Skilled at simplifying complex topics into engaging, clear content.
• Familiar with SEO fundamentals and writing for both readers and search engines.
• Able to adjust tone and structure for different audiences.
• Organized, self-motivated, reliable, and effective in communication.
• Open to feedback and collaborative work.
• Passionate about creating valuable, engaging content.
• A degree in journalism, marketing, creative writing, or related fields is preferred but not required.

Portfolio Requirement

Submit 3–5 samples of written content, with at least 2 focusing on social media marketing topics or B2B. Older samples are acceptable if paired with recent work.
