Job summary

Tanium is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead the company’s presence across key platforms. You will develop content strategies that elevate the brand, engage audiences, and support marketing objectives.

The role requires a creative yet data-driven approach in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office requirements at Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of B2B tech or enterprise software social media experience.
• Proven track record driving engagement and brand awareness.
• Experience with social media management platforms (Sprout/Hootsuite/Sprinklr).
• Strong writing and editing for multi-platform content.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Plan, create, schedule, and publish engaging organic content with internal and external teams.
• Monitor channels daily, respond to comments and messages to foster community.
• Analyze performance metrics and report KPIs to optimize strategy.
• Collaborate with Communications, Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and Design.
• Stay current on trends and opportunities to enhance Tanium's digital presence.
• Partner with executives to develop thought leadership content in cybersecurity.
• Manage a social content calendar with consistent publishing cadence.
• Produce LinkedIn Live programming and post-event repurposing.
• Provide real-time coverage at industry events with live posting and on-site capture.
