What You’ll Be Doing

As ourSocial Media Manager, you’ll take ownership of Echelon’s corporate social media presence and help build a strong, consistent, and engaging brand across our social platforms.

You’ll be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, creating and managing content, identifying opportunities to grow our audience, and ensuring that Echelon presents itself as a polished, credible, and attractive company across all relevant platforms.

This is an ownership-heavy role. We’re not looking for someone who waits for every post, idea, or campaign to be assigned individually. You’ll be expected to look at our social media presence, identify what needs attention, decide what should be prioritized, and execute independently.

Responsibilities

• Owning and managing Echelon’s corporate social media presence across relevant platforms
• Developing and maintaining a clear social media strategy that supports the company’s growth and branding goals
• Planning, creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging social media content
• Developing content ideas, themes, campaigns, and creative concepts that strengthen brand awareness and attract prospective clients and talent
• Managing the social media content calendar and maintaining a consistent publishing schedule
• Adapting content and strategy to suit the specific audience and format of each platform
• Maintaining a consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all social media channels
• Monitoring social media trends, platform updates, competitor activity, and relevant industry developments to identify new opportunities
• Tracking social media performance, including reach, engagement, audience growth, and other relevant metrics
• Reviewing performance data to understand what is working, what needs improvement, and where new opportunities exist
• Continuously testing new content formats, ideas, and approaches and adjusting the strategy based on performance
• Taking full ownership of the quality, consistency, and growth of Echelon’s social media presence

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in social media management, content marketing, digital marketing, brand management, or a related role
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to create content that performs across different channels
• Experience developing and executing social media strategies for a company, brand, or professional organization
• Strong content writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and brand-appropriate content in English
• Strong understanding of content planning, audience engagement, and social media best practices
• Comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT, Canva, and similar platforms to create effective content without requiring a dedicated designer or production team
• Comfortable using social media analytics and similar tools to monitor performance and identify opportunities
• A good eye for branding, messaging, content quality, and visual consistency
• Strong creativity and the ability to consistently come up with fresh and relevant content ideas
• Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and making decisions without needing constant direction
• Comfortable testing new ideas, reviewing the results, and adjusting the approach based on performance
