Job summary

Eleventh Hour Games is seeking a passionate and highly organized Social Media Manager to grow and engage the Last Epoch community across X, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Bluesky, TikTok, and emerging channels. You’ll develop strategies, pipelines for content, and support campaigns to bring the world of Last Epoch to life.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of managing large social media channels, a deep love for gaming, and experience turning player enthusiasm into marketing momentum while staying

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience managing large scale social media channels.
• Strong understanding of general gaming culture, gaming communities, and current social media trends.
• Be able to speak to a game you’ve mastered, an online fanbase you’re a part of, a game franchise that really excites you, or some other demonstration of a deep gaming connection beyond surface level marketing.
• Familiarity with photo and asset editing tools, e.g. able to turn an asset template into social posts with minimal designer involvement
• An eye for design to give feedback on assets and how to improve post performance
• Experience running community based social campaigns
• Familiarity with social publishing tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout, etc.)
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt to each channel specific audience
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities with tight deadline

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms including X, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Bluesky, Tik Tok, YouTube, and other emerging channels
• Plan, schedule, and publish social media content, supporting seasonal releases, campaigns, live updates, and community initiatives
• Collaborate with marketing, publishing, community, and creative teams to support go to market campaigns and events
• Track, analyze, and report on social media campaign performance
• Create engaging social media content and associated written social media copy
• Stay up to date with social media trends, updates, and creator programs
• Identify new opportunities that align with Last Epoch's audience and core values
• Proactive approach to engage with players across social media platforms

THE OPPORTUNITY

EHG is looking for a passionate and highly organized Social Media Manager to help grow, engage, and cultivate our Last Epoch social media presence. This role will focus on developing social strategies, developing a pipeline for social marketing content, supporting our community campaigns, and bringing the world of Last Epoch to life through our social media channels.

We expect EHG employees to be passionate about video games and, ideally, have experience playing Action RPGs as an enthusiast. Candidates should come prepared to talk passionately about what games you’re playing and why you love them. You should know what resources gamers in your community use, what makes them tick, and what excites them. Bonus points if you have experience in leveraging that player passion into professional marketing work.

As a Social Media Manager, you should be able read patch notes or upcoming design proposals, and intuitively be able to formulate ways to create social content and excitement. You will be expected to not only be intimately familiar with the various platforms and nuances of each audience, but also be ready to act on trends including exploring new and upcoming platforms. You will be our trusted social media expert.
