ProLiant is seeking a creative Junior Social Media Manager to join our marketing team in the United States. You will help build and grow our social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

You'll own content calendars, craft campaigns, engage with audiences, and collaborate with teams to drive brand growth using data-driven insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience in social media, digital marketing, content marketing, communications, or a related area.
  • Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, engagement strategies, and audience behavior.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop fresh and engaging content ideas.
  • Strong understanding of how to adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
  • Familiarity with social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative content ideas and campaigns that increase brand awareness, reach, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Write compelling social media posts, captions, headlines, and other short-form content.
  • Collaborate closely with the Video Content Creator to develop and produce engaging video and social content.
  • Coordinate with Marketing, Communications, HR, Recruiting, Product, and other teams to identify opportunities for social content.
  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
  • Monitor social channels and actively engage with followers, customers, prospects, employees, and other audiences.
  • Identify trending topics, formats, sounds, hashtags, and conversations that align with the company's brand and audience.
  • Repurpose existing content into new social media formats and identify opportunities to extend the life of high-performing content.
  • Track social media performance and provide regular reporting on reach, engagement, audience growth, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze results and use insights to continually improve content, campaigns, and posting strategies.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform changes, emerging formats, and best practices.
  • Help maintain consistent brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all social channels.
