About The Role

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to lead our brand presence across online platforms and grow awareness of the Sia network. The role will focus on both general public engagement (emphasizing data privacy education) and developer-facing communications (encouraging adoption and collaboration). You will report to the Head of Growth and work closely with other growth team members, including Developer Relations. This is a fully remote position, with working hours aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Qualifications

• Proven track record managing and growing multiple social media accounts with measurable success
• Strong strategic planning skills, including experience with hypothesis-driven experimentation
• Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to shift tone between general audiences and technical communities
• Experience with or strong interest in Web3, data privacy, and/or decentralized technologies
• Comfortable using tools like Hootsuite, Fedica, Canva, and basic web analytics platforms
• Ability to monitor and report on content performance and user engagement
• Familiarity with platforms including X (Twitter), Reddit, Bluesky, and TikTok
• Bonus: Experience writing blogs or educational content related to privacy or decentralized applications
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media strategy in alignment with brand goals
• Create, schedule, and publish daily content, monitor mentions, and engage with the community
• Design simple graphics or infographics using Canva for posts and campaigns
• Engage regularly with thought leaders, organizations, and conversations in the data privacy and decentralized tech ecosystem
• Write and publish one blog post per month focused on educating the public about data privacy and ownership
• Maintain a content calendar and manage project timelines for social content
• Analyze social media and web performance data monthly, reporting insights and proposing optimizations
• Provide feedback during content reviews and participate in ongoing content planning with the Growth team
