Job Description

The Social Media Manager will oversee content planning, creator partnerships, and execution across platforms while ensuring that all content aligns with Pique’s premium aesthetic, wellness-driven messaging, and community engagement goals. You will be responsible for sourcing and managing a team of content creators and collaborating cross-functionally to produce compelling, on-brand content for our social media platforms, with a strong emphasis on Instagram. This role is critical in bringing the founder’s brand vision to life through strategic social media and editorial storytelling.

Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a cohesive social media strategy that aligns with Pique’s brand vision and marketing objectives.
  • Manage content creation from ideation to execution, ensuring a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across Instagram and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with the founder and marketing team to ensure brand storytelling is seamlessly integrated into social content.
  • Oversee the production of high-quality visual and video content, ensuring all assets align with campaign goals.
  • Continuously test, refine, and optimize content formats to maximize engagement and growth.

Creator Sourcing & Management

  • Identify, recruit, and manage a team of high-performing content creators, UGC producers, and influencers to generate content that aligns with Pique’s brand.
  • Provide creative direction and guidance to content creators to ensure brand consistency.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage deliverables, and build long-term relationships with creators and social media collaborators.
  • Stay ahead of trends to leverage emerging creators, new formats, and cultural moments.

Social Media Management & Growth

  • Oversee Instagram as the primary platform, ensuring a dynamic mix of content including reels, carousels, stories, and lives.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
  • Work cross-functionally with partnerships, editorial, and paid teams to maximize impact and visibility.
  • Engage with the community by responding to comments, DMs, and fostering brand advocacy.
  • Ensure alignment between organic social content and paid social strategy.

Qualifications / Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or influencer marketing, preferably in DTC, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging audiences on Instagram.
  • Experience sourcing, managing, and directing content creators and influencers.
  • Strong creative and editorial instincts with an eye for design, aesthetics, and compelling storytelling.
  • Ability to analyze social media performance and optimize content accordingly.
  • Hands-on experience with content planning tools (e.g., Later, Planoly, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and familiarity with social media analytics tools.
