Wanderboat is seeking a hands-on Social Media Manager to own and operate our brand channels across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, while supporting LinkedIn, X, and emerging platforms as needed. Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on social media experience for a consumer-facing product or brand.
• Experience managing business-owned social channels, especially TikTok and Instagram.
• Strong short-form video, copywriting, storytelling, and visual-content skills.
• Ability to independently take content from idea to publication.
• Hands-on filming and video editing experience.
• Understanding of social trends, platform formats, audience behavior, and organic growth.
• Ability to use performance data to improve content.
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving startup.

Responsibilities

• Own Wanderboat’s social channels and manage day-to-day strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and X.
• Create engaging social-first content around dining, local discovery, travel, lifestyle, and AI-powered experiences.
• Handle full content workflow from research to posting, including scripting, hooks, captions, filming, editing, and thumbnails.
• Develop recurring formats and maintain a library of footage, templates, hooks, captions, and evergreen content.
• Track performance metrics and run experiments to optimize topics, hooks, formats, and posting strategy.
