We’re looking for a Social Media Intern who lives on social media, has a great eye for content, and can move quickly from an idea to a finished post.
This role will report to and work closely with the Marketing Manager and Social Media Coordinator.
The Social Media Intern will help create and manage content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, with a strong focus on short-form video. This is a hands-on role: you’ll visit different Pavement locations across Boston and Cambridge to capture content, edit videos, write copy, research trends, and help keep our social channels fresh and relevant.
You should be someone who naturally notices what’s trending, understands why certain content works, and can turn a trend into something that feels like Pavement.
You’re fast, creative and have a good eye. You know what’s trending before everyone else does. You can walk into a café and immediately see five pieces of content worth capturing.
You’re not afraid to pull out your phone, get the shot, edit it, write the caption, and send it to the team. You’re also able to recognize when a trend doesn't fit the brand and come up with something better.
Most importantly, you’re someone who brings ideas to the table and makes things happen.
