Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company seeks a Social Media Coordinator to execute daily social content, coordinate influencers, and support customer engagement across Ikon Pass channels. You will work closely with the Social Media Operations Specialist and content teams at Alterra destinations.

The role requires evenings/weekends during peak seasons, with a hybrid work model at our Denver HQ. A relevant degree or experience is required, plus strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field with 1+ years in social media/marketing, or 2–4 years in related roles.
• Experience with major social platforms and formatting.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Publish content across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, and more per the content calendar.
• Coordinate influencers and athletes, track deliverables and travel logistics.
• Monitor social inbox and comments, escalate sensitive issues when needed.
• Support monthly and campaign reporting; route content requests per intake process.
• Assist with on-site or remote logistics for team meetings and events.
