Job summary

Skin Gym Inc. in Culver City, CA, is hiring a full‑time Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator. You will film product tutorials, edit engaging short videos, schedule posts, and manage the content calendar while aligning with brand messaging.

You’ll work closely with the Social Media Manager, founders, and marketing team on launches, campaigns, and retail initiatives. The role requires hands‑on content creation, with in‑house collaboration and occasional local shoots.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related role.
• A portfolio of short‑form videos and social content you personally created.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram and TikTok, including trends, pacing, and storytelling.
• Confidence filming on an iPhone, with an eye for lighting, composition, and product presentation.
• Proficiency in CapCut, Instagram Edits, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools.
• Familiarity with Canva or photo editing tools.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling hooks, captions, scripts, and platform‑specific edits.
• Capture founder content and support shoots, events, and brand activations.

• Coordinate assets, feedback, and approvals to meet publishing deadlines.
• Monitor comments, messages, and brand mentions, coordinating responses with our community and customer service teams.
• Research beauty trends, creators, and social formats, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
• Help track creator content and coordinate permissions before reuse.
• Pull basic performance metrics and identify content worth repeating or improving.
• Organize footage and final assets, and adapt content for paid media, e-commerce, and email.
• Ensure content reflects brand guidelines and approved product messaging.

We’re looking for a creative, organized Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator who loves beauty, understands social trends, and enjoys both making content and keeping social channels running smoothly.

About the Role

You’ll support Skin Gym’s daily social media execution while creating engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital channels.

This is a hands‑on role: filming product tutorials, editing short‑form videos, scheduling posts, engaging with our community, and keeping the content calendar organized. What You’ll Bring

• A portfolio of short‑form videos and social content you personally created.


• Strong knowledge of Instagram and TikTok, including trends, pacing, and storytelling.


• Confidence filming on an iPhone, with an eye for lighting, composition, and product presentation.


• Proficiency in CapCut, Instagram Edits, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools.


• Familiarity with Canva or photo editing tools.


• Strong writing, organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through.


• Comfort behind and in front of the camera.


• Ability to take feedback, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.


• Beauty, skincare, wellness, or lifestyle brand experience preferred.


• Experience with social scheduling tools and basic analytics is a plus.

Location

This is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Culver City, California. Regular in‑person attendance is required for content creation, shoots, and team collaboration. Occasional local travel and event coverage may be required.

• $22–$28 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skills.
