Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Social Media Coordinator to help promote our Fuel Savings Program using our various store brand Facebook pages. This role does not involve managing page content or strategy; instead, you'll use these pages to join local community Facebook groups, post approved content, and track your activity in an organized way using a spreadsheet.

*Temporary position

$15-18/hr

Responsibilities

Group Outreach & Posting
• Use our store brand Facebook pages to join relevant local Facebook groups in designated markets.
• Share approved content about our Fuel Savings Program in these groups on a regular schedule.
• Follow group rules and maintain a respectful, community-friendly tone when posting or engaging.
• Activity Tracking
• Maintain a detailed Excel spreadsheet of group memberships, posts made, dates of activity, and any notable feedback or engagement.
• Keep records organized by store brand and geographic region.
• Engagement Monitoring
• Monitor comments on your posts and notify the marketing team of any questions, concerns, or engagement opportunities.
• Maintain a positive and brand-aligned voice in responses when needed.
• Collaboration
• Coordinate with the marketing team for updated messaging, campaign content, and posting guidelines.
• Provide regular updates on group performance, reach, and engagement.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Experience using Facebook, especially participating in local/community groups.
• Strong written communication skills with attention to tone and detail.
• Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets to track and manage workflow.
• Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage repetitive tasks across multiple pages.
• Familiarity with digital marketing or retail promotions is a plus.

Preferred Skills
