Job summary

Bria Hammel Interiors in Charleston, SC seeks a creative Social Media Manager to elevate the Bria Hammel Interiors and Brooke & Lou brands. You will own content calendars, generate engaging posts, and help grow audiences across Instagram, Substack, and Pinterest.

Collaborate with Marketing to craft captions, respond to comments, attend shoots, and partner on influencer campaigns and website updates. A background in marketing and familiarity with interior design brand voice is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their strengths (Facebook, Pinterest, Substack)
• Proficiency with Canva for content creation
• Creative writer and thinker
• Organized and effective communicator
• Understanding of Bria Hammel Interiors and Brooke & Lou styles and brand voice
• Familiar with interior design industry and influencers

Responsibilities

• Lead growth initiatives for Instagram, Substack, and Pinterest for Bria Hammel Interiors and Brooke & Lou.
• Develop content calendars for BHI and B&L's Instagram accounts.
• Write captions, schedule and coordinate feed content.
• Create original content for Reels, Feed, and Stories.
• Respond to DMs and comments promptly for both accounts.
• Collaborate on assets and copy for paid social ads.
• Attend photoshoots/events to capture behind-the-scenes moments.
• Contribute to weekly/monthly performance reports for both brands.
• Assist with Substack posts (4-5 per month).
• Collaborate on influencer campaigns and gifting opportunities for Brooke & Lou.
• Update Bria Hammel Interiors portfolio and Brooke & Lou website imagery.

Job description

This candidate should be creative, consistent, and goal-orientated in order to communicate both the Bria Hammel Interiors and Brooke & Lou brands to our online communities.

Responsibilities

Social Media (70%)

• Work with Marketing team to spearhead ideas and lead initiatives to generate growth for Instagram, Substack, and Pinterest for Bria Hammel Interiors and Brooke & Lou.
• Develop the content calendars for BHI and B&L's Instagram accounts.
• Write captions, schedule and coordinate feed content.
• Ideate and create original content for Instagram accounts for Reels, Feed, and stories.
• Assist in responding to direct messages and comments in a timely manner for both Instagram accounts.
• Work alongside Sr. Marketing Manager and Paid Ads contractor to create the creative assets and copy for paid social advertisements for Brooke & Lou.
• Attend photoshoots, events, etc. to capture behind-the-scenes moments.
• Contribute to regular performance reports (weekly/monthly) for both brands.
• Assist in content creation for the Bria Hammel Interiors Substack 4-5 posts per month.

Influencer Relations (20%)

• Work with Sr. Marketing Manager on execution of collaborations with social media influencers for campaigns and gifting opportunities for Brooke & Lou.

Website (10%)

• Update Bria Hammel Interiors portfolio page with new projects.
• Assist with misc. website updates for Brooke & Lou (I.e. updating product imagery, adding lifestyle images to product pages, updating website banners, homepage imagery, etc.) as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their different strengths and opportunities - Facebook, Pinterest, Substack, etc.
• Proficient with Canva.
• Creative writer and thinker.
• Organized and effective communicator.
• Understanding of Bria Hammel Interiors and Brooke & Lou's style and brand voice.
• Familiar with the interior design industry and industry leaders and influencers.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• Marketing: 1-2 years (Preferred)
