The Women's Center of Southeastern Michigan is seeking a part-time social media content creator to tell the story of our organization, programs, and services across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You will implement a social media plan, craft engaging content, and respond to comments while maintaining inclusive, accessible communication.

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media for a brand on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Experience using Canva, Meta Business Suite, Constant Contact or similar.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Basic smartphone photography, video editing, and graphic design skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement a social media plan provided by the Community Engagement Coordinator.
• Create content including photos, graphics, videos, reels, stories, posts, and copy.
• May include occasional evening or weekend event attendance to capture content.
• Respond to social media comments and direct messages.
• Identify opportunities to expand audience reach and engagement.
• Update shared content plan document at least weekly.
• Attend brief weekly check-in meetings.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively.
• Approach content creation with inclusivity, cultural awareness, and accessibility in mind.
