Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in brand/agency social media experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Experience in fashion, wellness, or lifestyle space is a plus.
• Proven ability to plan content strategically ahead of production and execute efficiently on set.
• Experience developing creator briefs and managing collaborations with creators, partners, and production teams.
• Exceptional copywriting skills and a strong understanding of brand voice.
• Advanced video editing skills with strong pacing and storytelling.
• Working knowledge of graphic design fundamentals.
• Proficiency with social media scheduling, analytics, and project management tools.
• Confidence on camera and strong interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• A nuanced understanding of social strategy informed by culture and data.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for occasional travel and event coverage.

Responsibilities

• Own the planning, development, and execution of a core channel content calendar with a strategic cadence of content.
• Manage campaign content with the broader social team, ensuring assets are delivered on schedule.
• Write clear, compelling copy reflecting the Free People brand voice across touchpoints.
• Develop social-first content plans ahead of shoots to maximize on-set value.
• Lead ideation for social initiatives and present concepts to the team.
• Oversee production of social video concepts from idea to final edit.
• Create original content independently, including on-camera appearances as needed.
• Provide on-site content coverage for travel and brand events.
• Develop strategic briefs guiding creators in producing social-first content.
• Collaborate with partnerships, co-op, and studio teams to bring concepts to life.
• Identify emerging trends and translate insights into social strategy.
• Measure and report content performance and translate insights into recommendations.
