Job summary

City of Philadelphia’s Office of Innovation & Technology seeks a Multiplatform Producer to serve as the second producer on studio and field shoots, manage PSA pipelines, and deliver social-first content across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn. You will coordinate with the Director of Digital Strategies to ensure consistent quality and platform-specific cuts.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in media production or related field, at least 3 years of video production

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in media production, communications, journalism, or related field — or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of professional video production experience, including demonstrable social/digital video work.
• Portfolio demonstrating both broadcast-length and short-form/social work required.
• Municipal, PEG, nonprofit media experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as second producer on all studio and field shoots: pre-production logistics, location coordination, releases and permits, B-camera operation as needed, and on-set production support.
• Produce the PSA pipeline: write, produce, and deliver 90-second PSAs including bilingual EN/ES versions coordinated with the contract Spanish-language associate, maintaining a minimum rotation of 12 PSAs.
• ProducePhiladelphia Minuteinterstitials in batches of 12 per quarter.
• Cut and deliver social-first content: 60–90 second episode clips, show promos, stills, and platform-specific versions for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn, on the weekly social calendar set with the Director of Digital Strategies.
• Manage YouTube publishing support: uploads, titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, and chapter markers for government hearings.
• Support OTT content organization and metadata in TelVue Connect as Roku/Apple TV distribution launches.
• Maintain the media asset library: ingest logging, tagging, and archive organization for all field and studio footage.
• Provide surge support for live government hearing coverage as assigned.
