Job summary

Rancho Moonrise is seeking a Social Media Content Manager to lead our online presence with a strong, design-driven aesthetic. You’ll shape captions, produce visuals, and craft content that feels current, cool, and distinctly Rancho Moonrise.

You’ll shoot and edit on your phone, manage a content calendar, and create engaging Reels, Stories and posts while tracking performance and trends. This is a part-time, on-site role in Austin.

Qualifications

• Previous social media, marketing or content creation experience is required.
• Hospitality, events, lifestyle, fashion or travel experience.
• Graphic making experience is a major plus.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Reels and short-form video.

WE’RE HIRING: SOCIAL MEDIA & CONTENT MANAGER

Rancho Moonrise is looking for a Social Media Content Manager to take the lead on our social presence and help us continue growing our brand.

We’re looking for someone who is obsessed with social media - you understand the algorithm, know what’s trending before everyone else does, and genuinely love figuring out what makes people stop scrolling, engage, share, and book.

You also need to have a very strong creative eye. Rancho Moonrise is a highly visual, design-driven brand, and we want someone who understands our aesthetic and knows how to translate it into content that feels current, cool, and distinctly us.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Work alongside our team to develop and execute our social media strategy
• Create, capture and curate photo + video content
• Plan and manage our content calendar
• Create engaging Reels, Stories and posts
• Stay on top of algorithm changes, platform updates and emerging trends
• Write captions and develop creative concepts
• Track performance and use analytics to continuously improve content
• Help promote events, hotel stays, weddings and everything happening at the ranch
• Work with our team to capture the personality and energy of Rancho Moonrise online
• Assist with making graphics for events

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Reels and short-form video
• Up to date on algorithms, trends, sounds and platform changes
• Excellent visual taste and a strong sense of style
• Creative, proactive and full of ideas
• Comfortable shooting and editing content on your phone
• Organized and able to independently manage a content calendar

THE DETAILS

• Part-time contract position
• Must be local to Austin, Texas
• Must be available to work on-site at Rancho Moonrise one day per week for content creation, meetings and capturing what’s happening around the property.
• We want someone who sees a beautiful dinner, packed pool party, wedding setup, new hotel room or ridiculous Texas sunset and immediately thinks, “I know exactly how I’d turn this into content.”
