Job summary

Noise is seeking a college student in St. Louis for a part-time Social Media Content Creator Intern role. You’ll film and edit short-form videos for real brands and build a portfolio you’ll be excited to show future employers.

You’ll work with the Noise Content team, follow briefs, stay on top of TikTok and Instagram trends, and contribute to weekly content goals. In-person onboarding and office presence at City Foundry are required.

Qualifications

• College student based in St. Louis.
• Comfortable on camera and bringing energy to videos.
• Experienced creating social media content for brands, clubs, or personal projects.
• Comfortable editing with CapCut or similar software.
• Organized and able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• Open to feedback and eager to improve.
• Self-starter who turns ideas into finished videos.
• Seeking hands-on experience in content creation, advertising or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Film and edit short-form videos for brands to use in social media ads.
• Create product demos, scripted videos, hooks and reactions.
• Follow briefs while adding your own personality and ideas.
• Keep up with TikTok and Instagram trends.
• Work with Noise Content team to review videos, incorporate feedback, and revise as needed.

• Participate in in-person onboarding and weekly check-ins with our St. Louis team.

Social Media Content Creator Intern

St. Louis, MO (Noise HQ at the City Foundry!)

About Noise:

Noise is one of the fastest-growing startups in the country, being built right here in St. Louis.

We’re looking for creative, camera-comfortable college students to join our team as part time Content Creator Interns. You’ll make videos for real brands, learn directly from our Content team, and build a portfolio you’ll be excited to show future employers.

If you’re always saving TikTok ideas, convincing your friends to film with you, or thinking “I could make a better ad than that,” this is your chance to turn that creativity into professional experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Film and edit short-form videos of yourself for brands to use in their social media ads
• Create everything from product demos and scripted videos to quick hooks and reactions
• Follow creative briefs while bringing your own personality, ideas, and perspective
• Keep up with TikTok and Instagram trends
• Work with the Noise Content team to review your videos, incorporate feedback, and make revisions
• Submit finished content on time and meet agreed-upon weekly content goals
• Participate in in-person onboarding and weekly check-ins with our St. Louis team

Who You Are:

• A college student based in St. Louis
• Comfortable being on camera and bringing energy and personality to your videos
• Experienced in making social media content, whether for yourself, a brand, a club, or just for fun
• Comfortable editing videos in CapCut or similar software
• Organized enough to manage multiple assignments and hit deadlines
• Open to feedback and excited to keep improving your content
• A self-starter who can take an idea and turn it into a finished video
• Looking for hands-on experience in content creation, advertising, or marketing

Nice-to-Haves:

• You have a finger on the pulse of internet culture: trends, memes, sounds, and whatever everyone will be talking about next week
• Experience creating UGC, product videos, or social media ads
• An eye for lighting, framing, captions, and the little details that make people keep watching
• Comfortable trying different hooks, delivery styles, and creative approaches
• A portfolio or social account that shows your creativity. You don’t need a huge following!

Compensation & Schedule:

• Paid, part-time internship designed to fit around your class schedule
• Compensation: Competitive bi-weekly pay based on output
• Weekly commitment: Create 20+ videos a week. Come in person to the office 2-3 times a week
• In-person onboarding and weekly check-ins at our City Foundry office
