Job summary

Openwork is seeking a creatively driven Social Media Content Creator & Photographer in Metro Atlanta, GA to capture luxury residential and commercial lighting projects. You will shoot, direct, and edit engaging short-form videos and photos, maintaining a polished brand aesthetic.

Expect full-time hours with day-focused field work and occasional evening shoots. Compensation ranges $45,000–$55,000 annually, commensurate with portfolio depth and experience.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule for evening, sunset, or night shoots.

Responsibilities

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a creatively driven Social Media Content Creator & Photographer in Metro Atlanta, GA. In this dynamic, field-based role, you will be responsible for capturing high-end lighting transformations, producing engaging short-form video content, and showcasing luxury home and commercial projects across Atlanta. In a Social Media Content Creator & Photographer job you’ll be responsible for:

• Photographing completed residential and commercial lighting installations at a professional level, specializing in daytime, dusk, nighttime, and detail photography.
• Shooting, directing, and editing short-form vertical video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) highlighting before-and-after transformations, behind-the-scenes work, and company culture.
• Editing photos and videos using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or CapCut to maintain a polished, brand-consistent aesthetic.
• Coordinating with sales and field installation teams to schedule shoot times on active job sites during peak lighting conditions.
• Writing engaging captions, maintaining a consistent posting calendar, and building an organized company digital asset library.
• Monitoring performance metrics and social trends to continuously elevate brand visibility and audience engagement.

What you’ll need:

• A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in camera composition, lighting control, and photo/video editing (submission required).
• Hands-on experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, with the technical ability to shoot effectively in low-light, dusk, and nighttime environments.
• Proven experience producing and editing short-form mobile video with strong visual storytelling instincts.
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut).
• Reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel daily across the Metro Atlanta area.
• Flexibility to occasionally adjust hours for evening, sunset, or nighttime project shoots.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience photographing architecture, landscape, or luxury homes, drone operation experience (FAA Part 107), or graphic design skills.
