- Girls Who Eat is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media and Content Coordinator to support and execute our content creation and publishing across social media and our website. This role is perfect for someone who’s fluent in Canva, skilled in writing captions, familiar with tools like ManyChat, and experienced in scheduling content across platforms. You’ll help bring our brand vision to life by creating graphics, writing copy, supporting our WordPress content, and managing social media workflows that grow our reach and drive engagement. This is a part time (~80 hours a month) position and you must have flexible availability and freelance or run your own business.
What You Will Do:
- Create visually compelling graphics in Canva for Instagram (in-feed, Stories, and Reels covers) and Pinterest (Pins).
- Write clear, engaging captions aligned with GWE’s voice and content pillars (wellness, non-toxic living, clean swaps, and product recs).
- Design Instagram Stories and Pinterest graphics in Canva using GWE templates, including support for launches, campaigns, and content series.
- Draft and manage ManyChat flows for Instagram to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Assist in updating posts on WordPress, including uploading graphics.
- Coordinate and maintain the monthly content calendar , ensuring posts are scheduled and published on time across platforms (using tools like Later and Monday.com).
- Help with repurposing existing content for different channels (e.g., social media, Pinterest, GWE Shop).
- Track and analyze social media metrics and performance using Later for monthly KPIs.
About You:
- You have 2-3 years of experience in social media content creation.
- You’re very familiar with Instagram and Pinterest and have experience managing content for both platforms.
- You’re confident using Canva and can consistently design graphics that are clean, branded, and engaging.
- You’re an experienced writer for social media and can craft on-brand captions that resonate with a wellness-minded audience.
- You have experience scheduling content using platforms like Later (or similar tools).
- You are able to meet all deadlines.
- You’re detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines, calendars, and multiple content streams with ease.
- You’re comfortable working in WordPress and can support shoppable and editorial content updates.
- You have used (or are excited to learn) tools like ManyChat to help drive user interaction and growth.
- You’re a quick learner with a get-it-done attitude, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
- You’re collaborative, communicative, and thrive when working with a mission-driven team and in a fast paced environment.
- You’re passionate about wellness, non-toxic living, and supporting a brand that educates and empowers.
- You have flexible availability (~20 hours per week) and freelance or run your own business.
