Job summary

Sentry Insurance seeks a Social Media and Community Strategist to shape and execute our social media strategy across platforms, guiding paid and organic campaigns and driving audience engagement. You’ll translate business objectives into social programs, benchmark against competitors, and optimize processes for efficiency and impact.

In a hybrid role, you’ll partner with the Social Media Manager, manage community dialogues, craft UGC strategies, and deliver KPI-driven reporting for

What You'll Do

As a Social Media & Community Strategist, you will:

• Develop and enhance workflows for the execution of social media strategies by the Social Media Analysts.
• Assist Social Media Analysts with the development of social media paid and organic campaign pushing beyond the bounds of tactical execution.
• Research competition, benchmarks and provides ideas for continuous improvement across social media platforms, networks, and digital communities.
• Audit current social media processes and explores the use of automation to gain efficiencies, achieve outcomes more quickly, and expand on social media initiatives.
• Evaluate current use of social media tools and technologies and recommends changes to increase efficiency.
• Partner with the Social Media Manager to develop UGC strategies and automated reporting against established social media KPIs for social media initiatives, campaigns, and strategies.

What it Takes

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
• Ability to understand how to translate business objectives into social media strategies.
• Hands on experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, business accounts etc.; Strong knowledge of social media platforms and the content that performs best.
• Experience developing and executing organic and paid social campaigns.
• Strong attention to detail, with an eye for timelines and deadlines.
• Self-starter with an ability to multi-task.
• Experience with social listening including responding to comments, questions and sharing community dialogue.
• Proven experience in optimizing social media experiences.
• Proven experience in creating audience targeting and lead management strategies for an enterprise level organization.
• Experience in working in both B2B and B2C environments.
• Must possess a data-driven mindset.
