The Aviation Authority-Tampa International Airport is seeking a Social Media Intern to assist in administering the daily functions of its social media program under the supervision of the Communications Manager. This role supports ideation, content creation, audience engagement, monitoring notifications, and timely posting to help enable effective communication and brand identity for the airport.

Formación

• Completed or in progress bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, communication, social media or related field.
• Experience in researching, developing, pitching, and writing compelling content for various audiences, including internal and external communications.
• Proficiency in managing and utilizing social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn) and a strong understanding of best practices for social media, website, video and print communications.
• Familiarity with website content management systems and software tools such as Outlook, Adobe products, Salesforce, Sprout Social, PressPage, and Drip.
• Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Creating and distributing content for TPA’s social media accounts
• Monitoring follower comments and questions
• Working with the members of The Plane Spot Facebook Group
• Taking photos and video for general content
• Developing original ideas for Communications department initiatives
• Working with HCAA staff across departments
• Responding to customer feedback
• Other duties as needed
