Job summary

Spirit Halloween is seeking a driven Social Media Assistant to manage day-to-day operations for Spencer’s, Spirit Halloween, and Spirit Christmas. The role supports ideation, content creation, and campaign execution in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a 1–2 year marketing background with strong writing and organizational skills, capable of coordinating across platforms and teams. This full-time role offers flexible work arrangements and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing social media pages and creating/curating digital content across multiple platforms.
• Proficiency with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, and platform-native editors (Instagram Reels, TikTok).
• Familiarity with social media management/listening tools such as Emplifi, Meltwater, or Sprinklr preferred.
• Familiarity with retail environments and a fast-paced, high-growth business.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day social media operations across Spencer’s, Spirit Halloween, and Spirit Christmas.
• Brainstorm, create and edit engaging social content across video, static, carousel, and story formats.
• Manage end-to-end social publishing workflow and content calendars.
• Monitor trends and translate opportunities into brand-appropriate content.
• Draft compelling, on-brand social copy that supports campaign goals and drives audience engagement.
• Assist with social reporting, listening, and data gathering.
