Job summary

Spirit Halloween is seeking a content writer to author product descriptions, blogs, marketing copy, emails, and SEO content for Spirit’s sites. You will craft metadata, SEO-friendly copy, and maintain brand voice across branded initiatives.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and strong Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to write professionally in a fast-paced, creative environment. Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or equivalent experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to write professionally, creatively, succinctly, and persuasively
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced and Creative environment

Responsibilities

• Author product descriptions, blogs, marketing copy, email and SEO copy for Spirit’s and Spirit brands’ sites
• Compile, organize, and write product descriptions, attributes, keywords, and metadata into the CMS
• Write snipes, blogs, and other marketing pieces leveraging SEO best practices
• Maintain brand voice and ensure high-quality content across channels
• Proofread and edit all site content
• Draft email copy and Amazon copy when needed
• Incorporate feedback from reviewers and compliance teams
• Add keywords/tags and publish content to appropriate channels
• Develop content for product pages, news articles, and landing pages
• Follow SEO best practices to raise brand visibility
