Social Media Associate – Part-Time (In-Person)

We’re looking for a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Social Media Associate to join our team. This is a paid ($17/hour), part-time position (3 days a week, in-office), with the potential to grow into a full-time role by fall. Ideal for someone with a strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and early childhood education.

You will work directly with the Marketing & Sales Manager to support content planning, creator partnerships, and day-to-day brand engagement across social platforms.

Responsibilities

1. Organize and manage user-generated content (UGC) assets
2. Research and vet potential content creators and manage inbound applications
3. Track and analyze social media metrics and engagement data
4. Support content calendar development, scheduling, and posting
5. Help maintain consistency, quality, and organization across Guidecraft’s social platforms
6. Assist with influencer/creator campaign tracking and outreach coordination

Qualifications

• Degree in or strong background in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or relevant experience)
• Strong working knowledge of social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment
• Must be available to work on-site in Tuxedo, NY, three days per week

Bonus Skills

• Experience in content creation (photography, videography, copywriting)
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Suite, Figma or other graphic design tools
• Exposure to digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
• Experience with other platforms (Reddit, YouTube, Blogs, etc.)
• Experience with Shopify websites
• Familiarity with Search Engine Optimization
