Qualifications

  • Able to create short videos with little direction.
  • Want to help be the voice of Wright State in social media.
  • Experience with photography, video, and audio.
  • Ability to research and answer questions and other content received via social media.
  • Familiarity with Macintosh computers, social media networks, photo and video software programs, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the University’s Office of Marketing and Communications, create and utilize multimedia content (graphics, video, and digital media) to strengthen marketing campaigns and communications.
  • Assists in producing engaging content that represents and promotes student life at Wright State University.
  • Supports the Social Media Coordinator by creating, curating, and scheduling content across a variety of platforms.
  • Ensure that we are interacting with other related social media accounts.
  • Write and edit content for social media.
  • Contribute ideas and content to social media calendar.
  • Capture and edit student-focused, strategic photography and videos for use on various official social media channels.
  • Provide live social media coverage of campus events.
  • Other duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
