Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Social Media and Community Manager for a 06+ month contract in New York, NY. The role is hybrid, combining on-site and remote collaboration to support product launches and GTM activities.

You will craft external communications, boost UGC, and engage across YouTube, X, Reddit, Discord, and App Stores, working with PR and Marketing to align voice and messaging. Required: 4 years of experience in journalism, PR, or related communications fields.

• Operate and represent the brand 24x7 across social channels and communities.
• Support GTM launches with planning, prioritization, and multi-channel content development.
• Draft and publish high-impact external communications (forum posts, social posts, app store reviews, educational campaigns).
• Identify and report on product launch feedback to inform roadmaps and content optimization.
• Grow user-generated content and peer-to-peer community connections, including the YT Product Expert Program.
• Collaborate with PR and Marketing partners to ensure consistent voice and messaging.
• Manage crisis and public conversations to protect brand reputation.
• Support engagement strategy for critical product launches across platforms.

Immediate need for a talented Social Media and Community Manager. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in New York, NY(Hybrid).

Pay Range: $45/hr - $57/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Social & Community team operates 24x7 online, representing the brand on the front lines of the internet, helping to shape public conversation, build community, scale support, and protect brand reputation.
• You’ll find us on YT, X (Twitter), Reddit, Discord, and Play Store, and YT’s official Product Help Communities.
• We have deep expertise in public community engagement, UGC programs, social care, social media crisis response, social intelligence, incident management, and operational excellence.
• We are looking for a Social and Community Manager to support the engagement strategy for critical product launches.
• You’ll support the delivery and strategy for Go-to-Market (GTM) launches, from planning and prioritization, to content development for multi-channel communications.
• Personally draft and publish high-impact external communications, including Forum Posts, Social Posts, App Store Reviews, Educational Campaigns, and more in close collaboration with PR and Marketing partners.
• Champion the voice of the user for your product areas by systematically identifying, analyzing, and reporting on product launches, top community feedback themes and support trends to inform product roadmaps and content optimization opportunities.
• Increase UGC content and peer-to-peer community connections by growing our YT Product Expert Program

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 4 years of experience in journalism, public relations, internal or executive communications, or a related field.
