Clutch Creative in Los Angeles is seeking a hands-on Junior Creative Director for a social-first client. You’ll translate strategy into scroll-stopping content, direct shoots, and shape work across social, influencer, and brand channels in a hybrid work environment.

The role demands an elevated eye and operational mindset, experience directing both high-production brand shoots and fast-moving lo-fi social content, and a track record collaborating with creators, editors, and clients in the LA

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience spanning creative direction, art direction, content production, or social creative.
• Strong foundation in visual storytelling, art direction, photography, or graphic design.
• Deep mastery of short-form social ecosystems (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts).
• Experience directing high-production shoots and fast-moving lo-fi social content.
• Excellent organizational skills to build shot lists, run-of-shows, and production workflows.
• Polished communication and presentation skills with creators, influencers, and clients.
• Bonus: motion design/editing or paid social expertise in beauty, fashion, wellness, or lifestyle.
• Based in Los Angeles, open to a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Creative Development: Translate overarching campaign strategies into premium and lo-fi content concepts.
• Creative Direction: Own premium and lo-fi shot lists, guide visual direction, and direct shoots.
• Production Partnership: Plan shoots with production teams, source talent and set designers.
• Creative Leadership: Lead kickoff sessions, present concepts to clients, mentor juniors.
• Platform & Cultural Fluency: Track emerging formats and platform shifts to keep content fresh.
